Ingredients
1 whole chicken (about 3 pounds)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 cup butter
1 celery stalk, cut into pieces
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Place the chicken in a roasting pan and pat it dry to help the skin crisp up.
- Season the chicken inside and out with salt, black pepper, and onion powder.
- Place some butter inside the cavity and spread the remaining butter evenly over the outside of the chicken.
