  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Korean red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ pounds beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Directions

  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the bowl and toss thoroughly so each piece is evenly coated in the marinade.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the beef for about 1 hour to allow the flavors to penetrate.
  • Heat a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the marinated beef in batches, stirring frequently, until the meat is tender and cooked through.
  • Stir in honey during cooking to help caramelize the beef and enhance the flavor.
