Ingredients
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup half and half or heavy cream
- 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook until tender but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and minced garlic, then cook and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour the half and half or heavy cream into the skillet and stir well.
