Ingredients
4 cube steaks (about 4 ounces each)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 cups water
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
Directions
- Season both sides of the cube steaks with salt and pepper.
- Place the flour in a shallow bowl and lightly coat each steak, shaking off any excess.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the cube steaks and cook until browned on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
- Carefully pour enough water into the skillet to almost cover the steaks.
