These Tilapia Recipes are quick, budget-friendly, and ideal for weeknight dinners. Tilapia is a mild, flaky fish that pairs well with almost any flavor, making it perfect for baked, grilled, pan-fried, or air fryer variations.
This version is a classic garlic butter tilapia, with options for healthy, Asian-inspired, or breaded versions for added variety.

Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
- Lemon slices and parsley, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season tilapia fillets with salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, and oregano.
- Arrange the fillets in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Pour over the fish.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving.
