Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (6 oz) can crabmeat or imitation crab, drained and flaked
  • 2 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 48 wonton wrappers
  • Water, for sealing wrappers

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crabmeat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce until smooth and well blended.
  • Keep wonton wrappers covered with a damp towel to prevent drying while assembling.
  • Place about 1 teaspoon of the crab filling in the center of a wonton wrapper.
  • Moisten the edges with water, fold diagonally into a triangle, and press firmly to seal, removing any air pockets.
  • Moisten one bottom corner, bring both bottom corners together, and seal to form a classic crab rangoon shape.
  • Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  • Arrange the crab rangoon on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Serve warm with dipping sauce if desired.
